Vincent graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cape Town in 2006. At the time he worked in the field of process engineering working on project within the petroleum, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries. In 2009, Vincent enrolled in a master’s degree in sustainable energy also through the University of Cape Town. After this Vincent worked mainly as an energy auditor but also a project manager and project engineer specifically on projects involving energy efficiency and solar photovoltaics, mainly for industrial clients.
In 2015, Vincent moved to Ireland at which time he took his first formal step towards a qualification in the auditing and energy management environment when he undertook the ESOS Lead Assessor course. Vincent’s role for FDT Consulting Engineers and Project Managers, mainly involves assisting clients with energy management, energy efficient design studies i.e. IS 399 and project management and utilities design.
