Simon holds a master’s in industrial engineering with focus on electrical engineering and joined ZIEHL-ABEGG in 2018. First he was involved in harmonic solutions for weak power supplies to save reactive power and due to that operational as well as investment costs. He is convinced that EC motors will be an important part to save energy in HVAC industry. Simon is working on algorithms on a component level to evaluate raw data to create added value for energy management systems, maintenance services and sustainable programs. The next wave of innovation will be driven by data and collaboration at an overall system approach.
