Ryan Mcneill is Sustainability Lead for Nestlé’s confectionery research and development centre. Ryan works across the end-to-end supply chain, leading the development of low carbon manufacturing, low carbon product design and the sustainable sourcing of ingredients to meet Nestlé’s commitment to achieve Net Zero carbon emission by 2050. 

Ryan is building the research and development strategy for regenerative cocoa farming, promoting the application of best practices, and exploring innovative, collaborative solutions to reduce carbon emissions whilst building social & environmental value. 

Ryan is experienced in delivering holistic strategies across complex geographical and technological environments. He has a background routed in engineering which is complimented by a deep understanding of integrated environmental management.
