Neil Coleman
Neil has been with the John Lewis Partnership for the past 6 years, having previously worked in Consultancy and Contracting, which has given him a wide and varied experience of practical energy project delivery. With the recent focus on developing and delivering the John Lewis Partnership’s Net Zero strategy, he is particularly aware of the challenges we face in the journey to deliver Net Zero.
With a background in engineering, he is focused primarily on the technical and financial viability of projects with a key focus on the practical implications of delivery at pace and scale. Having delivered over £30m worth of energy efficiency projects he has a particular focus on engineering project delivery in existing buildings.
Neil is responsible for the identification and delivery of energy efficiency projects and innovation across the Partnership’s diverse portfolio of over 500 buildings, which includes Waitrose Supermarkets, John Lewis Department Stores, Head Offices, Distribution, ECOM and the Waitrose Farm in Hampshire.
Neil is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Energy Manager and a professional member of the Energy Institute (EI), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE).
