Michael started his career in engineering as an apprentice pipefitter, he then changed his path and qualified as a Gas Technician at British Gas 15 years ago. He then opened his own heating company which he ran for 10 years, installing renewable solutions. Whilst running the company he went to university and extended his qualifications, he was awarded with a Building Service Engineering and Project Management Degree. From here he was made a Director of a Facilities Management company which specialised in the PBSA sector. He has now joined Empiric this year as the Energy Projects Manager, this is a new position created by Empiric to help implement the Net Zero target.
