Why do you think EMEX is a valuable event and why is it important to you to be a part of the advisory board?
EMEX is valuable event because both industry and society is still using energy inefficiently and its key to increase the efficiency to reduce reliance on natural resources and impact to health.
It is important to me to be part of the advisory board, because I am truly passionate about the subject but unfortunately it feels that large events such as EMEX have seemed to have lost its spark and I would love to play a small part to re-ignite that spark and ensure that EMEX becomes the must attend event for the entire supply chain, not just suppliers.
How can an event such as EMEX help shape the future of the sector?
EMEX is one of the most well know energy focused events. This gives the opportunity for the entire supply chain to come together, learn from each other, expose lessons, collaborate and exhibit what is possible.
Such knowledge and expertise coming together has the potential of shaping the future of the sector as it has the ability to creating a minimum standard for the industry to support and strive towards.
Which small, boring change would make the biggest impact if everyone actually did it?
Only use the energy you need! I would advise all to review their data, electrical hh, telemetry data for your road and off road vehicles, temp loggers etc. in most cases there is energy been used during a business out of hours when they are not making money. Most businesses need to use energy but not using energy when you are not operating only increases profits.
