Huw Russell has been working with Local Partnerships since its inception in 2009. 

He is a practicing solicitor who trained in private practice and worked in project delivery before moving to the public sector. At Local Partnerships, Huw supports public authorities on project finance, procurement, infrastructure delivery and contract management issues. He has a particular interest in environmental issues, having worked closely with Defra and local authorities on waste PFI/PPP, air quality, retrofitting public buildings and planning a trajectory towards net zero. Huw has experience of delivering effective training sessions, and drafting complex sector-specific standard guidance.
