Emma Arnold
Emma brings over two decades of sustainability experience in the corporate, financial and public sectors to her role at Trio, a global sustainability and energy advisory firm.Specialising in decarbonisation and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies, she skilfully assists major global corporations in transforming their sustainability pledges into actionable strategies. Recently, Emma has focused on helping corporations prepare for compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Recognised as a leader in sustainability, Emma has made significant contributions to various ESG working groups. She played a crucial role in the Ethisphere 2023 working group that developed the "Guidance on ESG Goal Setting – From Pledges to Progress." Dedicated to promoting systemic thinking within ESG frameworks, Emma excels at integrating departmental functions to propel corporate ESG objectives forward. As a qualified internal auditor, she also strongly advocates for the role of third-party assurance in reinforcing ESG practices. Emma holds a master’s degree in Applied Environmental Geology from Cardiff University.
