David is the Technical and Projects Director for Locogen Consulting. 

He is a Chartered Engineer with 20 years’ experience in renewable energy system design, project development, training and consultancy. He has led a wide range of projects across the full project lifecycle including installation of complex systems involving single and hybrid renewable technologies.

David has a technical specialism in low carbon heat systems delivering projects across the UK based on single building and communal low carbon heat solutions including heat networks. He is certified to act as an Expert Witness for biomass systems.  He has also led projects involving smart networks and off-grid energy systems for commercial, public and community-led developments in remote parts of Scotland.
