There is no such thing as a Just Transition
Theatre : Sustainability and Net Zero
The industrial revolution took 25-100 years for the benefits to reach the average person. We cannot afford that this time round. The word transition suggests an orderly journey from one state to another but there are only radical futures left now. Either we dramatically change society or a changing climate and collapsing natural world will change us…and not in a good way. The transformation must be fast, and it must be fair and business must put this at the heart of business models or risk not having the political stability needed to operate.
