In 2013 we built the UK’s first zero energy cost business park, called Armstrong Point. At the time it was a speculative industrial property development, which incorporated 12 low and zero carbon technologies, built to BREEAM Outstanding and it achieved A+ Energy Performance Certificates.

This session will review the issues of building with low and zero carbon technologies and highlight the benefits over the last six years, indicating lessons learnt!

The session will focus on:

  • Learn how to build in a low carbon way;
  • Understand the issues and the benefits of low and zero carbon developments;
  • Understand the various technologies and strategies.
