Roadmap to Net Zero – tackling scope 1 & 2 carbon emissions
For food and drink manufacturers, emissions from manufacturing are the main source of scope 1 and 2 emissions, and are the only ones under their direct control. Decarbonising manufacturing requires actions across operations, including new heating technologies and improvements to processes and efficiency.
This panel will discuss the potential, the options and challenges to reducing onsite emissions, where improving energy efficiency and switching to alternative fuels could be the most significant short-term actions as well as looking at longer term options.
