Transport for London (TfL), which runs day-to-day operation of the Capital’s public transport network and main roads, has completed a major energy efficiency savings programme at their Palestra office which provides both office accommodation and two critical operational floors for the organisation.

This seminar will cover:

  • What the GLA & TfL are doing about Climate Change at a wider level;
  • What TfL’s Estates Management is doing about Climate Change in their Head Offices;
  • How the TfL’s Palestra building was refurbished in 2008 and then again in 2017 to save 7% carbon emissions and £500k a year;
  • What the wider industry (Australia and the UK via the Better Building Partnership) is doing about guaranteeing both new and existing buildings’ energy performance;
  • What you can do to help.
