Is Demand Response the key to delivering Net-Zero?

Wednesday 27th November 2019

Theatre :  Flexible Power Zone

The net-zero era is upon us. Climate anxiety has increased, school children and employees are compelled to strike and, more than ever, global governments are under scrutiny for their environmental and energy policies.

In this session, Mark Davis discusses one of the key technologies required to achieve net-zero: demand response. We’ll look at the system as it stands today, and explore what a net-zero network might look like in the future, and how businesses are readying themselves.

Attendees will also learn about the latest demand response technology within industrial and commercial settings, the role of batteries and how electric vehicles will all help in balancing the grid and enhancing both business and system sustainability.

This seminar is CPD certified for optimum learning outcomes.
