With the capacity market recently clearing at 77p/kW there are many market players wondering how they can monetise their assets in a market which only appears to be delivering diminishing returns – so what next?

The very need for mechanisms such as the capacity market has derived from the increase in renewables on grid, which in turn has lead to increased volatility on the wholesale market.

This creates an opportunity for DSR providers as they can sell power back to the market when the system is under stress and intra day and day ahead markets clear at higher prices.

This presentation will explain how this can be done easily and with little to no risk to the end user.
