With COP26 taking place and a constant stream of net zero pledges, the role of the FM sector to help support and achieve these changes across the built environment has never been better. The SFMI and BAM FM have teamed up with a consortium of built environment industry bodies to develop guidance to improve understanding of indirect emissions in the FM sector and encourage greater collaboration with suppliers and customers.
The intention is to develop a Standard to ensure consistency in reporting and for the FM sector to take a leadership role to meet net zero targets.
