Danone works directly with over 50.000 farmers and partners around the world to regenerate soils and transition to Regenerative Agriculture.

Danone is exploring various solutions to reduce methane emissions, a powerful greenhouse gas which is 28 times more powerful than carbon dioxide at warming the Earth, on a 100-year timescale.

Cees Jan will present an overview of Danone’s carbon footprint and Scope 3 emissions.

  • zooming in on the agricultural part and all related methane emissions: where it comes from and what to do  about it.
  • explaining Danone’s strategy to first find the optimal efficiency on farm and next showcase some innovations.
