VPI’s combined heat and power (CHP) station at Immingham, North Lincolnshire has been providing power to the electricity system and steam for adjacent refinery businesses since it was opened in 2004.

Construction on the plant is expected to begin in early 2023, with completion scheduled for Spring 2024.Clarke Energy will be responsible for the delivery of the multi-million-pound RG1 project, which received local planning consent in 2019.
